The Faith Battle Begins

I cannot think of the Apostle Paul. He was always concerned about the welfare of the churches he had founded, but never abandoned the passion for extending the Gospel to other borders. Many times, while traveling, false apostles, and teachers, wolves, they entered the Lord’s flock, and caused divisions with their heresies or the simple purpose of boasting in the work of others taking for themselves the congregations. The same spirit of error, and competition is beginning to cause damage within the churches of the forest. This was the main reason for this missionary trip. Protect the brothers of the error and divisions, so that Satan does not take advantage and the United Church can move forward to the glory of God.

The Journey Continues

We separated into two teams. Oxiel and his wife were in Santa Rosa and I went to Tarimia with Lorenzo. We confirm to the brothers and we met with the entire community to take agreements relating to the construction of temples. Sister Damisley attended all the sick throughout the tour. The next day we join to walk to Wachintza with the purpose of celebrating the second General Conference of the Christian Amazon Community (CCA) with all the brothers who last month were unable to attend the same event which was held in Yampuna on the other side of the river. They were unable to participate because of a flooding of the river that separates them. All the brothers were rejoicing by the presence of God and the agreements which we hope will make prosper the work of God in the jungle even more. There we left Lorenzo, a Cuban pastor who came by a missionary call to know the jungle and work there for a month. We pray that God may direct Lorenzo’s plans to move his family to Ecuador to able to serve as a full-time missionary in 2016.

Preparing For Christmas

ConPasion prepared hundreds of bags of Christmas gifts for the children of the jungle. The CCA leaders along with other native brothers will tour many communities announcing the birth of Jesus Christ without the participation of foreign missionaries.
